In America, any person [not just lesbian] can offer a public opinion about just about anything. We call it freedom of speech - the operative word is "freedom." We built it into our Constitution.

Because Rosie can shoot off her mouth about Donald Trump [who has to be one of the most hypocritical clowns in public view], I can publicly state my concern about matters that are important to me without fear of retribution.

In much of the rest of the world, a person who is not in the dominant class is either stifled or marginalized.

She didn't. She was calling Donald Trump (who committed adultery) a hypocrite for pretending to be the "moral compass for 20-year-olds".
