Send half of our 2 million military forces to Iraq. Use them to seal the border with Iran and Syria. Disarm the population. Those two steps would bring the fighting to an end. After a few years hold free elections which would put a democratic government right in the middle of the Middle East. This is what should have been done in the first place if they didn't have a bunch of "boot generals" in charge.

Free the border agents, get the fence built, start deporting people, declare English the official language of the USA. Stop the plans for the NAU, pull out of the United Nations, then I don't know if I'd just pull out of the war or bring the troops home and just bomb them. I'm tired of messing around. I would enforce our immigration laws.... by training all local, state and federal officers...their federal money would be contingent upon their cooperation!

If your talking about Bush, I think he should stop being a stubborn, spoiled rich boy and work for the good of the USA & Americans! With many Latin American countries joined in an alliance with Iran he needs to "take the high road" ! He & Iran's president are like 2 little boys in the school yard "Mines bigger than yours" ....So we sanction Iran....they have more money than the US - think oil.... there is some obscure treaty we signed with Iran years ago that said we would send them X amount of money per year....yep, we are still doing it!

I would undertake the mountainous job of undoing all the bad that George Bush has done in his terms in office. This is a mess that will take years to undue. I would also work toward some form of universal health care for the citizens. 45 million people without access to affordable health care is a shame and is more costly then giving preventive medicine to them. The CEO of General Motors has said that $1500 of every car is the cost of giving health care to their employee's that is a cost that every body that buys a new car pays a hidden tax, I am sure that this carries over to other industry's and that is what makes it hard for the U.S. to compete in the world market for business.
