To keep a good supply of dictatorships and terrorists for us to fight in the future. Look at who we are fighting today. Osama: America supplied and trained Osama and his boys back in the early 80s. Saddam. America armed and trained Saddams Iraq back in the 80s. Now today we have to fight a war against them. Will we be fighitng a war in the future against those we are supporting today?

America is not the only country, there are other influential countries which for financial benefits supply arms to all the world. These countries will never agree a ban on this lucrative trade. If a restriction is placed by one country, the other will be offering the same. Terrorism under present shape Will disappear if terrorist have no supply of arms from any source.
