Yes, good fit. Detroit needs some big time scorers, and Webber with 20 points when healthy and played enough time (this year at Philly doesn't count, but he was averaging 20/10 last year) would nicely add to Hamilton, the only prolific scorer. That, and the Pistons don't really have much low post depth. What I gather, he and Rasheed were a good dynamic duo, and now both being wiser, they might be the two towers of offense. Since the only person not on the starting five who won the 04 champs is Mohammed, then the center is Detroit's weakest position, but put Webber and now it's a strong point. The chemistry is what keeps Detroit in the running, and Webber, a good passer, won't get in the way like superstar-led teams sometimes get.

Chris Webber will be good for Detroit. After all, Webber is from Detroit and he played college basketball fro the University of Michigan so Detroit has a win-win situation because they have a basketball player playing for a team that comes from the same city where the basketball team is located.

Terrible fit, Detroit needs a low post banger. Webber is at the point where his body can't bang down low anymore. He should have gone to the Lakers, where the triangle offense would have let him face the basket and be a jump shooter and passer. The only positive is that Detroit has lots of options offensively, so he won't have to put up big numbers.

What are the two things that Chris Webber is known for? Not being able to do it in the clutch and poor defense. The Pistons are still trying to fill the big gaping hole in their defense from Ben Wallace leaving, and adding a poor defensive player like Webber, isnt gonna help them get back to the Finals any sooner.

don't think C-Webb is good fit for the pistons: the man is washed up and is not known for playing tough defense and, moreover, is not the clutch player Detroit would need to regain the Finals this year.
the guy should have gone to the Spurs or Lakers (lots of injured players, unexperienced team).
Definitely, Webber won't help the pistons a lot.

you recognize what...I agree. i can not describe to you my interest for Lakers basketball; I bleed purple and gold, guy! in any case, the Lakers want yet another experienced and impacting vet who could make performs on the two facets of the courtroom. C-Webb heavily isn't a playmaker, yet he can genuinely get the numbers night in and night out. At this factor, all of us would be a sturdy slot in la. in comparison to what all of us believes (they don't comprehend something approximately LAL basketball), Kobe does not ideas sharing the ball and facilitating if adult men are prepared to be committed to step up. Webb's already shown himself. He won't harm you on damaging determination-making and TOs (he have been given a respected B-ball IQ), he can score, and he will stand his floor interior. (we can not remember on Kwame, curiously) the completed team's inconsistent on the two facets of the ball. (needless to say, Kobe's the exception)

I believe so. A fresh start will be a good start for him. The Pistons are just a few ingredients away from having a very good team. Losing Wallace to Chicago hurt, but I think he will be a good addition.

Not a question of fit. Webber is washed up. He is useless to any NBA team.
