I need to send a letter to France and was wondering what the postage rate was?

1 ounce is 84 cents, 2 ounce 1$1.70, 3 ounce is $2.55.This for airmail letter post 4-7 days delivery.For more rates go to USPS.com.

That's the website of US postal services. By clicking on Calculate postage and then choosing France in the International locations, you'll find that the rate of a letter to France by airmail is $0.84.

It looks like $2.98 will do it for 2 oz. You can get the exact number at www.USPS.gov. I admit that it is not user-friendly but you have to get the weight and the size of package just right or it will be returned. I guessed you would use a bubble wrap envelope which cost $1..
