does nokia 6111 work with the Canadian cellular network?

I want to send nokia 6111 or N-series to Canada. And I want to know if they are operable there. Thanx alot for your help

Those phones, and any other GSM phones 1900MHz capable will work on Rogers or Fido provided they are unlocked. Additional features such as picture messaging and web browsing will have to be manually configured but just placing your Rogers or Fido SIM card will allow you to make/receive calls and text messages.
