I guess that's the way it is in the UK.
In the states they time it so that they just finish the good song right as you get into your car and turn on the radio. So you're rockin' out for about 2.6 seconds, then it's over. They usually follow that really great song with something by ABBA.

it fairly is my automobile too yet we hear to hubby's in demand stations ...you guessed communicate radio so I plug myself into my cd participant. LOL no i've got not got an Ipod yet. solid luck your dad is likely as addicted to communicate radio as we are hooked right here.

That is soooo true, ya gotta muddle through the garbage first. Around here they have what they call "lite" music. It is awful, worse than elevator music!

i hate the radio, songs are overplayed, its full of commercials and when you do find a song, its usually in the middle of the song so theres no point to even listen to the radio.
