WE ARE POWERFUL COUNTRY IN THE WORLD BUT STILL WE HAVE TO INCREASE OUR RANKING AMONG THE POWERFUL COUNTRIES. EDUCATION TO THE ALL CAN PLAY BIG ROLE FOR THIS. BECAUSE POVERTY AMONG THE POPULATION HAS MADE US LOW RANKING POWERFUL COUNTRY.

As with socialism / communism / or capitalism, the philosophy is to do the most 'good' with what you have. Capitalism doesn't really manage anything, - it just freely flows from pursuits of all it's people. The USA doesn't have the most oil, natural resource, land, or whatever. But we use better, cheaper, faster the stuff we do have, more effectively / efficiently than any other country. And a justice system, that works 'better'. None of this is perfect, - just all the other countries have it 'less' so. With other countries getting kicked in the teeth after WW2, both the winners and the losers, USA came out on top as a dominant player. Certainly don't hold WW2 against the USA.

INDIA will become a powerful country as soon as all the states start growing at same pace we will have to make SCHEDULE CASTE, SCHEDULE TRIBES AND OTHER BACK WARD CLASSES grow at same pace with the general that was the reason why i support MR Manmohan singh for quota even if it is a bit high at 49% ..

India is powerful country but only thing is that we don't like teasing other countries without any reason.

In terms of economy suprpower
Currently we are USD 4 trillion ( PPP) economy.
Our growth rate is about 8 to 9 %
U.S. is the USD 13.3 trillion (PPP) with growt rate 3.4%
Now calculate where we will cross the figure of US's economy
And whatever the year , is ur answer!! ( May be after 2050)

only if all the indians work properly without scandal& pribe (especialy govt.oficials)we will become a super power. Not only this we have to control terorism activities in india. each indian should educated properly
or they should be awared to be clean because, if india have to be strong then indians should be strong i.e.healthy. IF ALL OF US DONE OUR WORK PROPERLY WE CAN.

we are a powerful country. we are the spiritual leaders of the world. its just that the west has set up the criteria that measure power and they have done it in such a way that the parametres always favour them. look around you and see how fats we are moving forward. its not only we who have poverty. its just that we are more poen and concerned about removing it than others.

The way the economies are developing, it does seem that the influence from China and India will increase exponentially in the years to come.
