Is it possible for a person to sleep while his eyes are wide open ?

absolutely.. When my brother and I were little out aunt thresa slept with one eye open.. it used to scare the heck out of us, we thought she was scarey and was always afraid of her...

Yes they can it is a nerve dissease nutting bad but cuse the eyes to open while in a narcturneal state aka sleeping my dad was in the army he had that problem and he was also awear when you was around him when he was sleeping sometimes he can still see while thats happening weired stuff huh

Yes- go and search Ripley's believe it or not! A King slept with open eyes for years for the fear of sabotage. But he was killed when he was asleep.

Yes, a friend of ours does, as does his mother and his son! My family baby sat for the son and told me it was hard to determine when the child was actually sleeping!

i actually do sleep with my eyelids open.. i roll my eyes back...seriously. not every night tho i guess...only seem to do when im REALLY tired. i can tell bcuz my eyes are really dry in the mornings that my eyes are open. i've done this my whole life, everyone tells me i do it...i wake up alot with hubby talking to me cuz he thinks im awake :-)

I guess it's possible, though unlikely. I bet the Visene people would love that person. Don't you KNOW they would be some seriously dry crusty eyyes in the morning?

yeah i seen drunks do it..but not with thier eyes wide open just half open

It is not natural but there are people when sleeping their eyes do not close completly.

yes you can, aparently my dad says I do it all the time, he says i fall asleep watching tv and my eyes are wide open, kinda weird......
