I have asked the same thing before. I cant lie, when I first got my PC I stayed on her 10-16 hours a day! LOL! On the daily average now, I'm on-line about 4 hours. You can do absolutely everything from your PC, so it's hard not to be on-line. Checking emails, paying bills, shopping, homework, listening to music, etc etc....
It becomes a habit and very time consuming. Lord forbid you find a good chat room! OMG, you'll find yourself spending an extra couple of hours per day! LOL!

I spend 12-16 hours a day 6 days a week on the computer. I answer questions, monitor stocks, read the newspapers, and monitor coin auctions on ebay and yahoo and a few other auction sites.
I'm retired so i do this to occupy my time during the winter months. I spend about half that time in the spring and summer.
