It's all been blown out of proportion. They have been picking on Shilpa but it's got nothing to do with race and to be honest, I don't know why she's being picked on. Jo was imitating her accent last night but so what, people imitate my accent (Yorkshire), it means nothing!!

I've not seen that much of it, only one or two episodes last week. I just heard it being discussed on TV. The only think Shilpa is guilty of is, is being slightly arrogant, but then again most of the so called 'celeb's in that house are too!

I did find Jackie referring to her as 'the Indian' very uncomfortable viewing, but I don't know if anyone else has beeen directly racist toward her. The bullying from what I've heard is very much 3 against 1, giggling, general taunting, gossiping behind her back etc. I've been in that situation at school and it made me feel awful about myself.

The producers of the show ought to interviene, otherwise it's irresponsible.

Jade, Jo, Jack and Danielle are just showing themselves up by mocking Shilpa's accent, moaning about her cooking, complaining when she cries, wanting to close doors when she laughs, that sort of moronic playground behaviour.
Shilpa's handling it well so far, she's remained dignified and articulate, although she did have a cry last night and fortunately lovely Cleo was there.
It's not pleasant to watch, but hopefully Jade will fall off her pedestal now that she's shown herself to be no different than she was the first time round.

It is completely true.

Ofcom, the Television regulator, have received 2000 complaints regarding last night's show and are currently investigating claims of racism towards Shilpa.

Shilpa's native accent has been mocked and she has been questioned, 'Do you live in a shack?' By Jade Goody.

Jade, Danielle (the slag who slept with a judge at Ms England competition to win it) and Jo have all ganged up on Shilpa - ignoring her when she enters the room, excluding her from conversation and making petty comments about the food she has cooked. One incident involved Shilpa slaving over a stove for two hours to make them all tea and they all refused to eat it, claiming that it was 'undercooked'.

Shilpa was reduced to tears when Jade started insulting her and started twisting her self-perception by saying that she wasn't 'geniune'. I think Jade's idea of genuine is to be a racist plebian without a brain cell to claim for your own.

Shilpa is such a classy woman with morals and values. Jade is not even a true celebrity - what is it she does apart from embarrass herself constantly and sell things with her name printed on?

I'm glad that other people are seeing the situation for what it is and realising what racists that little group are - get them all out!

SHILPA TO WIN - a true person with a kind heart!

It's true - and its digusting to watch and makes you feel ashamed to be British.
Shilpa is the first Indian national on the show and it shows you how ignorant and simple minded a minority of the British people can be.

Ofcom have been informed and are investigating.

Wouldn't want to be Jack, Jade, Danielle or Jo when they come out of the house!

they have made a few comments but i wouldnt call it taunting. if it were that bad then they would obviously not be able to show it on the telly. i think they just dont get along two totally different types of people in a small space. it is bound to happen.

No, not at all. They just don't like her.

Unfortunately we live in an age where political correctness has gone mad and if anybody says anything bad about a minority group it is instantly racist.

Plus the public have got to have something to complain about or they'll get too bored

over 2000 viwers have complained about her treatment, and yes, it does seem to be getting very close to racist. I suspect Jade will eventually make some sort of racist remark, but don't worry you WON'T see that as you only see what they want you to see.
