When did you graduate from nursing school? My wife is an RN. She graduated from college with a BSN and passed the NCLEX on her first try. I have seen others experience the multiple-NCLEX failure like this before, and most of them were folks that went through junior college nursing programs. Why are you looking for home study courses? My wife used an over-the-counter study guide she bought at Barnes and Noble. If the guides aren't working for you, you should take a course or two at the local junior college.

I don't want to sound discouraging, but nursing is a very difficult profession and the NCLEX is only one of the choke points along the way. I'm not sure I would want a nurse who has had so difficult a time in passing the exam. I don't mean to be harsh, just honest. You need to prepare like your professional life depends on the next attempt and pass the exam.

Do not pay attention to the idiot with the BEST ANSWER above. I'm a Senior nursing student graduating next year. My clinical preceptor in Cardiac ICU was struggling NCLEX exam but able to passed it on her 4th try. She is an excellent critical care nurse and actually manage the busy morning shift. The answer above is coming from an ignorant, clueless mind who has totally no idea what nursing is all about. Just because you did not pass your first try, it does not mean you will not become a great, responsible nurse. A lot of factors makes one missed out on the first try. You just need to focus on your weaknesses and try to work on that. Do not listen to the people like the guy above who's main goal was to pull you down and make you less motivated. It is north worth it, believe me! I know his type! He is probably a miserable husband who is jealous of his successful wife.
FEUER NCLEX-RN can be purchased on Amazon for less than $100. I would suggest you give Hurst Nclex-rn and U-World Nclex Reviewers a try because their questions are similar to NCLEX-RN licensure.
