You are a grown woman and you have to decide if it's more important to you to live your own life or to do what your father wants. Are you willing to lose this man because of your father's bigotry? And, also, is this man worth losing your father over? You are going to have to choose one. In a perfect world, you marry the guy and live happily ever after and your father comes to his senses and accepts his new son in law. You're going to have to make this decision!

From a Father's perspective: We see a Vison of what Our Young Daughters are gonna do. When they go against that. It's a real shock. He wants you to have someone, that loves you exactly like he does. Which is enormously! It can't be done, overnight. Love means talking. Love gives to The Heart. Show him that your Heart is telling him the truth. He'll come around, If you're telling the truth.

I just met a girl 4 months ago and i´ll get married in 2 months from now. I´m just doing what my heart dictates me. My parents wouldn´t agree with me, so i just won´t tell them. I the love of your life comes just once.
I think you should marry your boyfriend and forget about your father.

I don't know your father. But I sure hope he accepts him. However, if he doesn't, i would STILL marry the guy regardless of what your dad thinks. Sorry, I don't let someone run my life even if it's family. n

If you are sure, do what you want to do, but don't ask your father to agree. He has his beliefs and who are you to change his way of thinking?
Do what you want, just remember that negative actions bring negative consequences and positive actions can sometimes bring negative consequences.

No parents should decide what nationality there kids should or shouldn't marry. Your only other option should is to Elope. They'll have to deal with it then.

Sometime your parent can be right about a person, it's not that they over protective, it's just that they had the experiences, and they can tell wht type off person they trully are.............but you have to learn to trust you heart......
