No, it is not actually. Better you turn off Windows firewall and leave only another one on.

There is a chance of more than one firewall conflicting with each other and causing unpredictable results. The usual recommendation is to run one firewall only.
Not sure which firewall you are running in addition to Windows, but your best bet is likely to be to switch off the Windows firewall - this provides only inbound protection, not outbound. Most commerical firewall products, including free ones like Zonealarm, provide inbound AND outbound protection

Best to only have one frewall on the PC. If you have another disable the windows one. THey may confict at worst or mean you have to allow something twice.
If ou have a hardware firewall on your router though you would be OK having both

It is OK, but it is pretty much unnecessary, and it will also slow down your internet speed. Windows Firewall does not provide outbound protection, so I will recommend that turn it off and keep the other turned on.

windows firewall is crap anyways, so unless you want to take a dump in the box and call it ur computer then I would suggest anything else, especially NORTON INTERNET SECURITY! The oly problem is when you want to uninstall it. You have to remove all directories, files, registry entries, and the most elusive common shared folder.
