You have to prepare properly.

First, sit in the middle of the floor in your office with the curtains drawn and the lights off, hugging your knees, and rocking back and forth whispering to yourself. You have to do it long enough for a couple of your co-workers to notice you, think you've lost your mind, and tell your boss. HE has to come to YOU and ask what's wrong. (More impact that way.) Then, he's liable to believe anything!! Good luck!!

I'm still trying to figure out a good way to convince my boss that having a beaded curtain at the door to my office will improve my work production. She said as soon as I can back it up, I can get my beaded curtain. So, anything is possible!

Where I worked there was a policy that anyone could leave or call in sick to work if they feared for their safety due to the weather and you could not be punished for it. We tended to get a lot of snow there , combined with ice and strong wind. Glad I moved! LOL

Tell him you suffer from a rare form of snow blindness. After you tether your feet to a pair of tennis rackets of course.

Depends on where you live. If you live in say, Houston, TX, he may buy it. If you live in the north where snow is more common, probably not.

Tell him that you have snowitis, which causes extreme laziness. You should just quit and give your job to someone who wants to work.
