4x=12y+ 7 -----> x= 3y +(7/4)

133 (5x + 10y) + 131 (7x + 23y) = 131*133
1582x + 4343y = 17423
Subtitute the Value of (x)
1582 (3y + (7/4)) + 4343y = 17423
4746y + 2768.5 + 4343y = 17423
9089y = 14654.5
y = 1.612
Subtitute the Value of (y) on equaition no. 2
x = 6.587
Proof.
subtitute both x,y Values on the Top equation
LHS ((32.935 + 16.12)/ 131) + ((46.109 + 37.076)/ 133)
= (49.055 / 131) + (83.185 / 133)
= 0.374 + 0.625 = 0.999 = 1 RHS

I did that math in grade 8
4x = 7 +12y
x = (7 + 12y) / 4
substitue this for all x values in equation 1
solve the equation , you will get a value for y
substitute the answer for the first equation into the variable y in the second question you will have a value for x.
Show that these numbers work (verification) by placing them into the x and y variables in both equations.

Top equation equals:
3.81E-2*x +7.63E-2*y +5.26E-2*x +17.3E-2*y =1
simplify:
9.07E-2*x +24.9E-2*y =1
multiply both sides by -4/9.07E-2 which is -44:
4x - 12y = 7
combining both:
y=1.61
x=6.58
Both equations check.
