Yes, its very simple.
Form a managment comittee consisting of Indians, Pakistani officials, along with a small, duly elected group of Kashmiri residents of both Azad Kashmir as well as Indian Kashmir. This committe will be authorized to run the new Kashmir simply as a business entity, rather than a separate state. They will work with a simple consitution which will allow for a free access to all of the Kashmir for all parties. The main goal would be the boosting of local economy and bettering the lives of the Kashmiri people.
Once this plan has been finalized and the management comitte is in place, you will need to open up the borders of Kashmir on both sides. Let Pakistanis come and go to Kashmir as they please, and the Indians can do the same thing from the Indian side. And Of course Kashmiri's can come and go to any side they wish, whenever they wish. And the business of Kashmir will commence.
Once this is started, I guarantee that the Indians and Pakistanis will forget why they fought over the damn place in the first place and run Kashmir as a business enitity instead of a political problem. Kashmiris will get used to a very lucrative tourist business from both sides and will quit worrying about having their own little country. If anything, the security issues will be resolved right away and at the local level. India and Pakistan will be able to establish a very high level of trust between themselves because for once, businessmen will run the place instead of these idiot politicians and bureaucrats.
And everyone will live happily ever after.
If the Indians and Pakistanis get used to the idea of doing business together in Kashmir, who knows, they might even use the success of this model to expand business along the rest of their other borders. It could be the start of a beautiful friendship.
No language speaks better of peace and prosperity than the languge of business. We should learn from the Irish. Look at what happened in Northern Ireland eventually.
And if it works in Kashmir, then think of what the Jews and the Palestinians can do as well.

read thru these ideas..
1. fight a non nuclear war and resolve the dispute once and for all.
2. if force is not used the LOC wil remain as it is.. neither of the sides will accept forefieting even a piece of land.. in such a case i hav this intersting idea..
1. forget the past hatred, war etc..
2. make loc the official border
3. make it a free border, allowing the whole kashmir (J&K,PoK) to exist as a single unit, but with a restriction for pakis to cross beyond J&k and for indians to move beyond Pok, without visas..
4. thus both countries can enjoy full of kashmir, which can lead to immense growth of trade and economy of the region and the country
5. but for this v need to hav immense faith on each other... which i believe is a long time away !

My answer is strange. The answer is give Kashmir to them. Otherwise allow both the countries to use Kashmir in a good way.

You know that there are many religion in India.India is a nation of diversity.Only love and affection can make people loving and caring.But now the problem is religion.The peoples should know the relationship between man with man to solve the problem of Kashmir.

1. Go get it by Sardar Vallabh bhai patel's way!!
2. Give them ( Kashmiri) more expousers in India
3. kashmir enjoys a ' special state in India' , cut this , let them like other state of india.
4 . Do not give interest whatever Pak said ( on current options also)
5. Invite Pakistan for take poll in POK by coordination of UN.
6. People like Faroque abdullah , must show their nationalism by showing interest only with India
7. Kashmiris must bring to national stream of india by INDIAN PEOPLE , NOT BY POLITICIANS!!

heck yes .give Kashmir to the Pakistan .you see Kashmir belonged to neither of us .that way they will at least stop fighting for it.i mean do you know how many people lost their lives due to a pointless war???

continuous firing and bombing in the border, till the thought of entry into unpermitted country by neighbours in any manners, this can be applied only if the ruling government is strong, not like now where the pm to cm are under the foot of a lady.

TAKE THE AREA OF KASHMIR UNDER CONTROL OF PAKISTAN. THERE SHOULD NOT BE ANY AGREEMENTS ALL THE KASHMIR IS INTEGRAL PART OF INDIA.
