I have to disagree with you. Not all war is based on ignorance. If the early Americans hadn't went to war to win their freedom from England, they'd still be ruled by the queen & paying their taxes. If WWII hadn't happened, we might all be talking German right now. Some of the past wars that were fought were fought to win freedom, and that's not being ignorant. That's just a desire to be free. It's not always wise to get all your information from the media. Just talk to a soldier, who's served in Iraq, and he'll tell you that the people over there are very glad that the soldiers are there, helping them gain their freedom. And isn't it great that we all have the freedom to post things here, without fear that some government isn't going to track us down and take away this freedom? <*)))><

You have a very limited view. War happens because something has been done to offend another. You say the US is fighting Islam because they don't understand Islam. I am afraid they understand it far better than you do. They understand it enough to defend themselves, and where are you from? If you are from Iraq of what I know of the ME you will fight back, but any other Arab country you will use someone to fight your battles for you. Whom is the ignorant one now? The United States is ignorant and understands nothing about Islam? The United States takes care of her own and even you, too should you need the help. To me that is being Islamic.
So what do I know about myself - I will set people straight and if I have to be cruel I shall. So take it to some one who cares.

I disagree. The reason for war is wanting something that someone doesn't want to give you. Ignorance doesn't really come into play.

if you think you can win the war, you negotiate for the higher

ground and if you think you will loose the war you settle for the lower ground and be loyal.

If you think you cannot win the war but you still want to die, well go ahead but do not sacrifice others lives for that matter.

Enjoy the Common Sense

That's a very, very limited view of war.
War is not caused by ignorance.
It is caused by many things one of which is a bunch of people (a country or region) deciding it needs the resources of another region or to stop certain actions of other countries or regions.
