I am 16 yrs old. I met my bf on an online game several months ago. He is almost 17yrs old. We started dating on oct 29. The problem: we have never met except for talking countless hours on the phone and on yahoo as well as sending ea other pics and talking on our webcams. I truely beleive that he is the love of my life and he says that he loves me too. We have talked about us seeing ea other but there is no way my parents would let me go to the other side of he US. My family knows all about him and everything but my mom wont even let me go up there if shes with me too. She said that he could come down here but i have a 3yr and 7mo old sisters so there would never be any time for "us" --any suggestions about any of this plz???

your mother is right in asking the boy to visit you first
is just good manners to do so since he is older than you
you can still find some good quality time together if he stay overnight

Long-distance relationships as an adult really stink...it's so much worse when you're 16 and 17 because you don't have the ability to get together...
not much you can do but be patient and stick it out...if you're still interested in each other a year from now then maybe you have a chance...
but the distance will always be a problem

How do you know he is really 17?I think your mum is rite. This sounds really mean and boring but imagine expecially when you are your age you just wanna have fun but you have to think of the consequences. You hear so much these days. If you wanna meet, then meet on mutual grounds in a safe location like a shopping centre or something.
