Should I...Please help?
Should I do english or English Literature for year /grade 11?
Would I have a better chance of getting into Harvard College for undergraduates if I did English Literature (which is higher than regular english as one of my subjects?).

I am going to do Chemistry, Physics, Introductory Calculus, Geometry & Trigonometry, Italian and either English or english literature.

All of these subjects are the highest ones available for me for Year/grade 11. Also, would they (Harvard) prefer I did Italian (language) or a Society and Environment subject such as Geography or history or would they not care? I am extremely good at Society and Environment but the language is more challenging.
What ones should I choose? English literature is harder. I am very good at English. In english literature you analyse pieces. I am not sure whether I would be required to write poems..that is a weakness of mine). Would Harvard care about undertaking the most rigorous curriculum on off

Would Harvard care about me undertaking the most rigorous curriculum on offer for me or would they care more about my SAT scores?

The question is: Should I take English Literature or English?

Also, should I continue with Italian or do a society and environment subject such as History? I would be wanting to do a Bachelor of Science at Harvard.

Thankyou!

i highly doubt if you are required to write your own poems, it should be something with regards to creative writing. english would be an interesting course rather then eng li with regards to your situation. just make good on your sats and the rest will follow.

My brother wanted a Harvard degree. He is one of eight kids and we are a lower middle-class family from Canada. My dad was a bricklayer. He got his degree even though he was only a average "A" student. How did he do it?

He looked through all the different faculties, and found one that would take him, and help with the finances too.
