I think you have a watered-down idea of what hate is. First of all, the feelings you have for GWBush are a result of what you have been fed and what you choose to believe. Even though I dont always agree with the President, he does have a good heart and he is doing what he and his people believe is right for the US. Do you realize we have lost less americans in this war than others? Have you seen the staggering numbers of american losses in other wars? My guess is that the war is why you say you "hate" him. Please read history. No war has been won by winning the peace. You win a war with the aggessive use of force. I hate war, but if we wish to remain a free and peaceful society, we must kill the bad guys where they stand. We cannot take the Jimmy Carter approach and talk to these people. We cannot hold up a flower and a tiedie shirt and think they will stop attacking us. The terrorists attack because they disagree with freedom, they attack because they look at America and the UK as evil: not because we invade contries, but because of our immorality (thats their opinion). If you want peace with them, you do one of two things: You either switch to an exteme Muslim way of life (Sharia Law), or you kill the extemists where they stand. You can protest all you want, in the end, no matter how peaceful you try to be, you are just as much in the terrorists crosshairs as someone who proudly wears the uniform of the US military.
To answer your question: Disliking the president does not mean you hate America. But you have a duty to support your president whether you like him or not. We live in a representative republic. We hire someone to handle the decision making in this country. Mr. Bush, along with representatives on both sides of the aisle, made a decision to take a out a dictator who they believe posed a threat to us (now or in the future). If you purposely do things to get in the President's way, then yes, I would say that you hate America. Give the guy a break. All you are hearing is what the news media is telling us. It doesnt matter what network you listen to--we are NOT getting the whole story. There is a lot more going on THAT WE ARE NOT BEING TOLD. I think we owe it to the people who KNOW to back off and let them do their work.

I read all these answers and most of them were really good, but a few were rather myopic! Especially the girl who said you aren't putting the best interest of the country in line, or something to that effect.That one was the most myopic of all! Hating or disliking Bush actually means you care about this country! A true patriot will always question the government, when you know they are doing wrong, and committing crimes against humanity!!!!

Just because we disagree aka "Hate" him doesnt mean anything towards the way we feel about america. Hate him all you want honey, your not alone!

No way, American people is innocent and misinformed. We just hate Bush for what he defend (business interest). In the meanwhile is dying people every minute just for Oil and power and Mr. Bush try to convince the world that he his doing everything for freedom and democracy for the Iraqi people......He must think that the world is idiot as he is.

I love America. I love my fellow Americans (well, 99.9% anyway). I don't "hate" Bush but I have a very, very hard dislike for him. I think if I was to follow him blindly (or any leader for that matter) I would be doing this country a big disservice and let down my love for it.

No but many in their hatred of Bush stand against everything Bush is for.They let their hatred blind them to the need for action and the fact that the troops are doing their job and that all of the rhetoric does hurt them and destroys moral.We are in the war lets all get behind winning then we can sort out if Bush was wrong.

When you ask a question as clearly as this one, you will not get answers from repugnicans because they deal only in innuendo. They cannot handle the light of day, they MUST be undercover.
Their lazy way to describe people who disagree with or dislike Bush is to equate them with everything negative under the sun - including America Hater.

First of all, why do you hate him? He is making the tough decisions which gives you the freedom to disagree. Do you hate Bill Clinton? We know Bill lied under oath and brought shame to the oval office but heck, I like the guy. If you hate Bush then you hate all that he's trying to do, mainly, give Iraqi's the freedom that we have here.
