I am in a very bad marriage. I found out I might be pregnant and took a test. It came out a weak positive. I started to think about how he treats me, how I need to save to get out, and thought now was not the time for a baby. The baby was a product of him raping me anyway and I AM working on getting out on my own as I have nobody else and nowhere to go. I don't live in a huge city and there are no shelters here. I waited a few days, and instead of a period I got this brown discharge that subsided and stopped completely. I freaked out, took another test, and it was a strong positive. I grabbed this very long but thin screwdriver, and out of desperation gently maneuvered up inside and poked around a bit hoping to dislodge the mucous plug. It seems to have worked since I started bleeding the next morning and passing huge clots including one that was a funny color and had a string attached. What would that be called, other than desperation and insanity? No money for secret abrsn

I have nobody. He scared them all away and told so many lies. And I don't feel any pain or any of that. It's almost like a normal period, but with a lot of clotting.

You need to conatct a shelter by phone, even if there is not one where you live, you can go to one in a different town. You probably caused a miscarriage, see doctor to prevent infection. If you do stay with your husband use birth control so you do not find yourself in this situation again. You can get help, get your phone book out , make the call, leave, life is too short to be that unhappy!!!

If you want to get rid of this baby i would try an get a job somewhere to save up some money for an abortion which is around $200 around wisconsin. that was a desperate attempt with the screwdriver and i would think you would get an infection from that but if you knew for a fact that you were pregnant before it could have been a miscarriage that you went through but maybe it could simply be from sticking something up there and digging around. i wouls think that a screwdriver would be too thick to stuick up there without dilating the cervix with smaller instruments first. that is how they perform abortions by gradually dilating the cervix with "sterilized" instruments. Either way i would recommend to see a doctor very soon.

I understand not wanting to be with him anymore, but you just let him win! And put your life in danger as well. There are other things that can be done to get rid of a baby. I don't believe in any of it, but that's another story. You can get an infection, maybe not even be able to have children anymore. You need to go to the doctor and get checked out to make sure you didn't do anything to be concerned about. I hope everything works out for the best and you wont regret what you did for then rest of your life. Sorry for how hard things are for you, maybe you should go back to live with your mom and dad for a while.

OMG, first...go and see your doctor...now. Who knows what you could have done by aborting that way. You could easily get an infection, and you may have to have a D and C done. Secondly, tell your doctor about your home situation. They deal with this on a regular basis and would be able to tell you what the next step is, and find you a shelter. Good luck.

You did what??? OK, I don't know why you would want to post something such as this....
You know who you can call when you live in a small town, the Police.. no matter how small a town I am sure there is a police station and rape is a crime. They may know of a shelter in another town you can go to, and obviously you have internet access you can FIND a shelter and people to help you.

You do what you have to do in life, isn't that right. I know sometimes its hard and almost unbearable, but you can make it work. I would suggest saving enough for a bus ticket to the nearest town and running to a shelter. Pawn shops and his wallet will do just fine, if you are still short on cash. Take care of yourself and all will workout in its own time.

i'm sure there are other ways of going about it.. but yeah.. i understand not wanting to bring a child into that situation it makes it a lot harder for you to leave i'm sure..
can you go stay with family? i mean its hard to do i know.. but i had to go back home and move in with my parents after leaving a bad relationship.. as i had no where else to go.. parents are usually welcoming if you explain the situation ..

poor baby pray more than anything ask God to give u the strength to make it out of this situation ask God to give u a clear head to think and a way ut of this horrible situation and find a free clinic to make sure u don't need a D/C
