we would pollinate... and there wouldn't be abortions.. no racism, sexism, or gay discrimination.. if we were like plants, we wouldn't have independant assortment (genes) and would look exactly the same as our parents. we wouldn't need a job...there wouldn't be any wars..no one would have to move to mars....may be other species would feed on us....
it would be interesting.

If you are seriously on this thought, then I suggest you read the book THE RED QUEEN by Matt Ridley. It gives theories and different discussions on the evolution of sex and asexual reproduction and there is a chapter that addresses the issues you mentioned (yeah, up to the question on what if humans could have reproduced like plants).

speaking of guy and spouse, the first element out of human duplicate/procreation is in Genesis a million:28 the position it says, "Be fruitful and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and performance dominion . . . ." The connected household projects are sparkling. captivating in sex with the motive to reproduce/procreate must be less than right here situations: "fruitful", earnings that could want to keep up; "replenish", a house for a relatives; "subdue", to stop at the same time as it is adequate; "dominion", the flair to take care of components. If a guy and spouse wouldn't have adequate components and earnings to keep up a relatives and be on their own, the least they could do is to "subdue" -- both of them is adequate. there is not any element doing all once you're amiss even in a unmarried. better be a fulfillment in a unmarried than a failure in all or many. better be a fulfillment as a guy and spouse than be a failure as a relatives. in this context, being guy and spouse, sex without the motive of duplicate/procreation isn't a sin?

Our intuition would be more developed, our cities would look nicer, the visual aspect of the world would be much different, more improved, maybe there would be 10,000 Paris's around the world, not just one. People would read more books. We would talk about books with our partners, books and ideas. We would understand each other much better, even men and women. We would be more patient as human beings.

If there was no sex in the world, the natural world would figure out how to make it work in a different way.

It would be like eating bland food.
The spice of life would be missing, and what would remain would be boring and insignificant.
A good part of living is attracting and exploring the opposite sex.
Take that part away, and the rest becomes just plain boring.
(Not just humans pursue the opposite sex, the animal kingdom goes through different rituals in pursuit of the other sex).

Though it would be more productive to "grow like plants", there will be a consequence. People will never be able to develop a deep and passionate relationship with each. Each one may be able to reproduce by themselves, but what good will it bring to a single parent who cannot share one's joy and love with another person so attached?

Unfortunately, MOST plants do have a sexual system of reproduction. Are you talking asexual reproduction - like among bacteria and other single celled organisms?
Or are you talking Parthenogenesis (like with Aphids and Bees)?
There would only be one gender and it would be female.
