i don't actually know this answer but I'm saying according to my experience.When i was in school itook up piano which was very hard and boring to play, after that i took up violin which was far too hard but when i took up drums i found it the easiest and right now im the one of the drummers of my school.:-)

I would say that the trumpet is pretty easy since there are only 3 keys but variations of them. Its rather easy to keep the tempo and form the notes.
