I have had 2 kids through caesarean sections and I want to have 3 more but am told that women who have undergone caesarean sections can only have 4 kids. Is this true and is it scientifically proven? Is there a doctor reading this who could help answer this one?

no it is not true, you can have more babies after caesarean section, but the changes of the mother to survive decreases and even she might have some health problems...like will be ill most of the time, back pain etc... it depends of person to person and health to health

with each new c section it gets harder and more dangerous to do the next one. so after 3 or 4 c sections your docor may not want to perfom any more unless in an emergency... but how can you have the time or money for 4 kids!!!!!! let alone 5!!!! I am going cazy in anticipation for my first one!

There is no reason why you wouldn't be able to to have more than 4 kids unless you can't conceive!! Having c-sections does not put a limit on how many children you can have, that is on you!

That sounds like a lot of cutting open to me. I don't know the particulars but cutting the same scar open over and over again I would think would create some pretty thick scar tissue..The uterus isnt meant to be cut open time and time again but then again none of our organs are. :) I don't know the particulars but i think that sounds excessive. wow, you sure must like children? :)
