You can't love someone you've never met. Its lust or infatuation.
You don't know them as a person, just the image the media projects of them. Its probably nothing like who they really are. They might seem really nice on TV but they could be nothing like that in real life. Many people who meet their celeb heroes are disappointed as they find them really different and not as nice as they thought they'd be.
Maybe find a good counsellor who you can talk things over with. There are wonderful people out there in real life and having a rea life partner is much more rewarding than obsessing over someone who you don't know. But you may need to talk things through to get this in perspective.

Realise it will never happen and find someone real. Even if they feel like second best at first, you will soon fall out of love with the celeb. Dont forget its a crush not love cos you dont know them.

It is impossible to fall in love with someone you have not had direct interaction with. That is, you can't fall in love with this celebrity unless you know them and have spoken to them - you can only become infatuated with a public persona.
Therefore if you do know the person then you do have a chance, and if you don't then you aren't in love no matter how much you might like to think you are.

I'll see a therapist. What you see of a celebrity is just what their agents and / or PR people want you to see. This is not the real them.

u mean ur in love with the MEDIA PERCEPTION of them. the media is payed to make ppl look a certain way to the public
dont worry about it. he/she isnt as 'perfect' in real life. if they appear loud, they could be shy. if they seem clean, they could secretly be addicts
meet soemone you can fall in love with for who the yreally are
