When I have the Heater on, it works well for a while but then it seems that when the desired temperature is reached, the unit starts blowing cold air only? It's as if something is not shutting off the fan even though the heating mechanism has shut off already. Any Ideas??
Thanks Much

You may have the t-stat on fan manual control, or the fan center relay, or klix-on control is stuck in closed position. Get someone to look at it, it's nothing serious.

this is probably normal. electric furnaces run off of seqencers which turn on one element at a time to prevent a surge of power. when your thermostat senses desired temperature, your furnace will shut down the heating elements one by one, and the blower motor will usually turn off with the last heating element,so the air right before it shuts down will naturally feel colder.this is normal operation and you should not worry about it. i am a heat and air service tech so i know what i am talking about

Yea, but if the fan does stop after a bit. It is good. It is just blowing out all the hot air, after the heating elem is off. Or bad delay switch.

Might be a faulty thermostat. Also, check to make sure the fan switch on your thermostat is not on the on position.
