I like to wear cologne but find that it barely lasts. I can put 3-5 squirts before I leave home in the morning and by the time I get to work nobody can smell it... It's about an hour on the train so it's not like I'm doing anything.

Women like a guy who smells nice, so this is annoying. I've tried a couple of different colognes - Hugo Boss and Armani black code. Any advice?

Cologne is an alcohol based product and the effect of alcohol is to get evaporated in the air after some time. Thus the cologne that u wear in the morning wears off after some time.

There is another fact to this. You while wearing the cologne after a few hours may feel that u cant smell it any more, but people around you, can still smell it, even though your smelling senses have gotten immune to the same perfume in a few hours.

And by the way try putting the cologne once again say during lunch hour.

Another fact... women like the male odore too specially from under the nice cologne..pss dont tell many people about it .

I disagree bro, if someone can smell the cologne after an hour or two, it probably means that you put on too much.

I think the main point in "smell good products" is to not stink. Too much cologne can stink too.

Don't be discouraged. I would try and switch deodorants which smell good longer, and are not over powering.

Well I definitely wouldn't recommend drowning yourself in it, cuz then that just smells worse than the cologne is supposed to. If you want to smell nice at work, right before you walk in, put it on, that way it is fresh, and the outside environment can't interfere with the smell.

You need a hydrated skin, so apply lotion, and then spray on the neck, on the back of the neck, your chest, and your forearms! Also sprayin in clothes helps, but mainly dry skin doesn't hold the cologne too much! Take care and live healthy!!

Probably cause you bought a 'chaplang' (a Malaysian/Hokkien slang which means unauthentic) perfume.

Make sure you put them at the right spot (your wrist or neck, preferrably your skin near the pulse) because the scent goes off fast on fabric.

because it being absorbed....try adding light oil to it.

have you ever notice your favorite colognes having oils to them being marketed on street or in ..its because it has something to keep it absorb onto the skin..
and sometime they sell the product before its deluted but then that can be a lil expensive. I mix my D & G Light Blue with moisturizing body butter(with walnut oil & shea butter)...umm yummy..

cologne:alcohol absorb by air.

you mix alittle no-scented oil/ lotion..and you will have a lasting scent.
