i started out going to community college, not really giving it 100% because going to school full time and working full time is really hard & time consuming.. at night after a whole day of changing tires and oil changes and workin on 24'' rims all day ur back starts to hurt and u cant study enough / get enough sleep to wake up to go to school in the morning.. so i got a few W's and also a few F's (2) due to meetin drop deadline too late.. Well right as of now i have around a 2.0 GPA in 3 Semesters..i wanted to become a PHARMACIST. I know to get there is ALOT OF HARD WORK & good grades required. i finally am gonna put EVERYTHING aside and work my AS S off in school, gonna give it my all, 24/7 .. but my question is CAN i even do this anymore since my 2/3 Semesters at my JC i started off with a bad start? is there anyway to make up these F's or should i give up my path, and choose something more realistic due to my fck up start =( i wish i could start over.. i did good in HS though..

Don't worry. You can always improve and get where you want. That's why you'll see people in their 30's and 40's in school. I know that at least at my college (University of Kansas), you can retake classes that you've failed and get a better grade. You can always raise your GPA, you just have to try hard. Like Led Zeppelin said "You know there's two paths you can go by, but in the long run...there's still time to change the road you're on"

Never give up!

There is not anything "unreal" approximately a neighborhood institution. It is only a topic of whether or not or now not you desire to visit a two-12 months or a four-12 months institution. The Division is an athletic idea, which does not imply something until you're a scholar-athlete, however how is the four-12 months institution so far as its teachers? Is it a well college, or might a well neighborhood institution supply you a begin which might permit you to switch to a good four-12 months institution in a while. Don't make your choice completely at the foundation of whether or not or now not you might be entering debt. That is only a truth of lifestyles for virtually each institution scholar, and the query might be, are you going right into a profession as a way to permit you to repay the debt, or will that dept be unattainable to eliminate? There are by and large individuals in this web site who see entering debt because the worst factor on the planet, however should you seem at victorious individuals in the market in these days, virtually they all needed to make a few of the ones sacrifices to put money into their futures. You simply do not desire to get into such a lot debt that you are going to run into important crisis. There are a few matters valued at entering debt for. Buying a apartment is one for such a lot individuals, and so is a well institution schooling for such a lot. I simply would not move into debt procuring an luxurious institution best seeing that it has a high-quality athletic culture - you have to recognize that there can be a go back in your funding too.

Check to see what the "grade forgiveness" policy is at your school. You may want to retake those classes. (Yes, it will put you further behind... but it may be worth it!)

Get out your calendar and do some time management. Plan your study time and stick to it. It will be a long road to your goal, but you've gotten over your first big hurdle - yourself!
