Biology is a field of science; engineer is a profession. An engineer generally puts into practice principles of science to design, build and maitain useful applications (or machines). Biotechnology and Biomedical are two branches of engineering that put into practice the principles of biology. Molecular biologists who design drugs are also engineers in the broadest sense of the term. There are courses available like Bio-Technology,Bio-Informatics,
and Bio-Medical engineering.First two courses are offered By IIT S as well(I doubt Bio-INFORMATICS).Bio-Medical Engineering is included by many Universities including Mumbai University.But remember the COURSE may be littile-bit tough as attempt will be to make you learn Electronics,Instrumentation and Medical science together.It is heard that the branch has got out standing scope in Europe and USA.In iNDIA Scope is developing slowly.Alternatively You may Finish four YEAR ENGINEERING IN ELECTRONICS OR COMPUTER AND THEN ATTEMPT Some bio subject at PG LEVEL.i HOPE IT SERVES YOU.

You have to follow what you want. If you want one subject or you tend to be pulled to another one what does that tell you? it tells you to move and get moving. It shoudln't be too bad if you are so interested and that is what is good jobs are dime a dozen but its what you are happy doing best which is your turning point.
