Why do Eurasian people always have the hair colour of his/her Asian parent?

I go to an international school, and a lot of my friends are eurasians. I was just wondering, why is their hair always 'Asian'?

I know a few Eurasian people with blonde hair, also I'm Eurasian but my hair is wavy and reddish brown.

However, dark hair is the dominant gene over the light hair gene. In addition, the wavy/curly hair gene is dominant over the straight hair gene.

However, the wavy/curly hair gene does not largely exist in full Asians (as well as the red hair gene, which does not exist naturally in traditional Asian genetic design) and therefore the straight hair gene is homozygous recessive and has a fair chance of being passed down to the Eurasian offspring.

There is also the scenario that the parents of your Eurasian friends BOTH have dark (whether brown, black, or mousy brown-blonde) hair, straight hair, and/or straight/wavy heterozygote alleles for hair texture. This dramatically increases the odds of your friends having traditional "Asian" hair. Because there would only be a few wavy and/or brown hair alleles, ultimately outnumbered by the straight/black alleles. This therefore usually produces the phenotype for your Eurasian friends that have "Asian hair."

It's in the genes, dear ^_^ Asians tend to have dark hair and eyes. More melanin, I guess. And those genes just happen to be more dominant.

Dark colour genes are dominant over lighter colours - they probably all have brown eyes also.
