I agree with Emily K. that is how the pill works. And being on antibiotics makes the birth control pill ineffective, not being sick. But I wouldn't worry, you say you have been on the pill for 8 months and that is plenty long enough for the pill to be working properly with your system. And feeling sick is probably just from your pills, many women feel sick after taking their pill. Also, your cycle is never going to be the same. Meaning one month you might feel sick like you do now and then next month you might be totally moody and have cramps. Then the next month your breasts may just ache, its never the same. One of the many joys of womanhood LOL. And as far as the morning after pill goes I wouldn't bother you have been good with taking your pill everyday and at the same time. All the morning after pill does is reset your body clock. I've taken it before, one pill in the am and the other at night before bed. It's just supposed to stop you from ovulating, it's like a powerful birth control pill. And your already on the pill, so no worries. Hope this helps. :o)

The morning after pill is a one time solution and should not be used as your main source of birth control. Go to a doctor and get the pill or IUD or diaphragm. The morning after pill is a huge dose of hormones that prevents the fertilized egg from attaching to the uterine wall. It generally makes the person taking it nauseous and ill for a few days. it should only be used within 72 hours of an unexpected sexual encounter. There is enough hormone in the pill to probably cause cancer if used regularly

You need to take it no later than 72 hours after un protected sex. Its not 100 percent but i have been told its close. Its is more easily available now and i think some chemists do provide it. It does have some side effects including cramps and feeling sick.

I hope you are getting married with this person. If so why not keep the baby if end up in pregnancy. Anyway you may find out more about RU-486 emergency pill on
http://ec.princeton.edu/info/ecp.html.
My suggestion is to have your partner on the contraception injection. The pill has to be taken at the same time and faithfully, otherwise (if missed pills) you end up with an unplanned baby. Your ob-gyn will explain options according to patient/family health history.
