Ideal age for both is when both have the maturity of mind, in terms of running a independent life with a person who is all the new and the decision making capacity of the couple.

Even a person who is well known for years before marriage, would behave different after marriage. No one behaves the same as they used to, before the marriage.

One should have the capacity of withstanding somany 'news' in the life like a new person, place, family, relationships, habbits, responsibilties etc., which comes only after 25th year for a female and 28th year for a male. Marriages below this age limits suffer in the early stages, sometimes knowingly, some times unknowingly, some times within bedroom, sometimes outside bedroom and some times outside the house ; there are even a few couple who withstand all these and stand up in life.

Mental maturity again depends upon the environment in which the groom or the bride are brought up during their childhood and until marriage. Usually any person who dwells from a poor family or a joint family and a eldest son/daughter of their parent matures mentally faster than a person who is brought up among his/her elders sisters and brothers in a considerably middle-class to rich families.

Afterall man is a social animal and he/she learns to live from the surroundings.

One should only understand that the marriage as a whole requires lot of adjustments though not compromises and understanding between each other.

Age difference beyond 3 years is not adivisible. and the chances of facing more difficulties during first pregnancy and delivery, for a woman who has crossed 30. At the same time a male who has crossed 40 would have been more pre-occupied by other dimensions of life than his family and its well being.

But the real requirement of a husband for wife and vice versa is better felt in the later part of life somewhere at around 50-70 years of age. Though its not the ideal age for marriage, the real thirst for a well bound relationship is felt at that age.

The age for a love romance is around the age of 22. If you're a girl then 25-27 is an ideal age to marry. If you're a guy it is aroung 29-32.

For love and romance, I would say after you finished your studies and also when your mature enough to understand someone else's feelings. Its actually mostly after the age of twenty. And for marriage its when you can stand on your own two feet because only after you can support yourself financially and emotionally and not to forget taking responsibility of your actions will you be ready to tie the knot. If these things are not in place you will not be able to keep your family happy even if you do get married. The probable age i would suggest for marriage is 25+ .

There is no ideal age for everyone when it comes to love and marriage. People mature differently and it depends on the 2 people involved. My in-laws got married when they were in their early 20's and were married for 55 yrs. For some people, their 20's is too young because they are not ready for a life long commitment. There isn't a certain magical age when people are ready for love. When it happens you will know it. The 2 people involved have to decide for themselves if they are ready to be in a commited relationship.
