i have been to Mombasa. The beaches are nice because they are lined with palm trees. I wouldn't say the sea there is the clearest or best ever, but I certainly swam in it. One needs to be careful of the local boats as they come into shore very rapidly and may not see you if you are swimming. I don't believe there are sharks there. There is a reef so it should only have reef sharks within it which aren't usually dangerous. There are crabs however on the beach so I guess they come from the water, probably only at low tide.

Sure people swim over there.

I'm from Kenya and spend a lot of time in Mombasa. The sun beds are not on the public beaches (like in America)
You'll find them in the resort beaches...

the perfect coastline in Mombasa is Amani Acre. that's on the Shelly coastline shore line throughout the time of from Likoni. that's really a private coastline owned with information from human beings and that i imagine it changed into meant for objective because i have not in any respect considered any vacationers there yet i understand that that's amazingly very high-quality, very very inner most, honestly no coastline boys, you could actually see the city from the coastline, and its one among if not the most inexpensive. they have cottages on the coastline (a million-4 bedrooms) and they team you with a maid, a refrigerator, the front room, bedrooms, etc yet you should flow to the city, purchase your own nutrition, and practice dinner it. i love that idea better, its better than staying in a motel the position each and everything is carried out for you (till you want that) The beaches south of Mombasa, like Diani, Ukunda, are also solid. Now in case you want to be better adventourus and stumble on the cliffs, and rocky beaches, somewhat of the common white sands, i might want to inform you to flow to Kilifi coastline. Its incredible, I dont save in recommendations like the white sands that a lot because they are straightforward however the abnormal beaches, like those with black sand, or the cliffs, and the rocks have continually stayed in my reminiscence.
