I believe that is exactly correct, how can you fall in love with someone without even know their personality, i feel that when you fall in love you really fall for their personality rather than looks, i mean, yeah you fall for their looks too but its the personality that closes the deal.

Don't mistake attraction for lust! Yes, it's impossible to truly love someone by looking at them, because you need to know the person to love them, almost by definition.
However, to be physically attracted to someone doesn't neccessarily denote lust, as "lust" is a deeper, more animal, and some say darker emotion altogether.
However, it's more than possible to look at a boy or girl and think to yourself, "that is the most beautiful person I've ever seen". That kind of strong emotion is so close to love that it's easily mistakable.

Love and lust are two different things. I went through the experience (love at first sight) and it still is marvellous.

absolutely. first sight is all about appearences. how a person looks attracts us to him/her. its only after knowing them that we can find out if we can love them or not.
