There are some special gloves that have little special-made bristles on them made especially for getting fur out of things like carpet and upholstery. I would try your local petstore and see if they have them. I used to work in an RV detailing business and we used them. Very effective.

There are several things you can do.
Sweep you carpet with a broom and collect the hair.
Use a shop-vac, there are attachments available to put on the hose to create better suction.
Have your carpet cleaned or rent a steam cleaner.
Hope this helps.

there is a rubber broom outcalled sweepa that will get it off so quickly that you won't have to worry at all. just sweep it into piles and vaccuum up. If it gets my carpets clean it will get anything.I have long hair, bits of fabrics and threads and my daughters keep bringing their dogs to visit.

You might try using a vaccum cleaner. They are known for cleaning up messes like that.

Sticky tape works well. Or one of those metal brushes you use for combing dogs.
