Yeah it's fine; if you're talking about whether the nun should have been allowed there in a hospital, then yes it's standard for a lot of hospitals to have chapels, and the nun's go around "comforting" people (I'm not religious, so the idea annoys me).
If you're talking about whether nun's should stroke people's hands, the answer is: yes, it's not against their religion or anything. They're allowed to show affection, and fall in love (though I'm not saying that she was in love with you!), simply not allowed to have any kind of sexual encounter.
Touching your hand is not a sexual encounter.

A nun walked up behind me and covered my eyes with her hands, now that was really freaky. I think in hospitals Drs should ask if you want a nun to stroke your hand.

When I was a kid they used to belt me across the back of the knees with a leather strap.
