Most times it is 80% covered by Medical insurance and can cost up to $2000.00
as for pain, well it's done under anaesthetic so you wont feel much during the op. The after op nose pack is possibly the most uncomfortable feeling you may experienec and its removal is also somewhat eye watering. But you are given meds to dull this semi uncomfortable procedure. The benefits out weigh the discomfort.. Do some research with local ENT surgeons and find out what they offer in both pre and post op surgery. Also have a talk with some anaesthetists that work with the ENT surgeon of your choice. The more information they provide the better will be the result and the value for money.
