I know they dont always do this but I have been hearing a lot about it so those of you who have had this done what made the doctor do so and how long after did you have your baby?

yeah it gets the baby faster, but that pain is horrible

The doctor does this to help loosen up the plug which is a brownish snooty piece of goo once this comes out the baby is not far behind but when the doctor loosens your plug it is very painful

the doctor strips the membranes (if i understood my doctor correctly) because it is in a sense a natural way to induce labor. it just kinda moves the process along a little faster.

i had my baby less than 48 hours later


fair warning though it hurts like a @#$#@#$%^&^%$ !!!!!
