Iran won't Nuke us unless we try to Nuke them first. Remember that only one country in the world has ever used a Nuke. That was the US. They are the only country to have even threatened to use them again. A nuclear Iran has one purpose - to balance out the power of Israel in the Middle East and provide a level playing field where by real discussion can take place without one party having the threat of a mightier force.

Nobody wants a nuclear war. Islam and especially Iran are not in the business of wiping out Christian otherwise they wouldn't be in the most Catholic continent in the world (South America) at the minute, forming alliances with the infidel.

Iran is not gonna nuke the USA. If Iran were to nuke some country that would be Israel I think. But really I very doubt they gonna nuke anybody. Yes they need the nuclear energy and they have right to have it like any other country in the world.

Even if Russia were to nuke the USA they would not be able to do so before being nuked first by the USA.

The USA government, CHINA< RUSSIA< and all those that are allowing them and trusting them,
They know what the stakes are, and so do other countries. I think that we are a bit out of range for them though. Some other country would have to. They will probably nuke Israel as soon as they can. Which will kill palestinians, Iraqis, surround countries on their borders, all the land, or they will give them to terrorists that will destroy us all because they do not know what they are playing with ! It spreads in the wind, on the seas , etc. They will knock the stars out of the sky, and ruin our atmosphere, etc. Everyone will eventually die from the nuclear fall out, depending on the size of the weapon, on how many it kills, and how much land it destroys.

I'm in the UK and I don't think Iran wants to nuke us and I have not heard any evidence (real evidence, apart from Bush's usual scaremongering as he did with Iraq) that there is any credible threat to us. It is just more propaganda which will be built up as an excuse for the USA and the UK to enter into Iran. I will not be supporting that anymore than I did the Iraq invasion.

Iran may have nuclear weapons, but so do we - so does that mean we intend to use them or are they kept as a threat?

I will blame Bush because they along with North Korea only pursued nukes after Dick-weed Bush invaded Iraq. They are probably building nukes for their own protection.

It's not really a question of who "lets it happen", because it's virtually impossible to stop a determined foe from launching an attack on you (short of SDI, aka "Star Wars", suddenly being up & running).
