hi all. I think when people give others thump down they should explain why so you know why you've received the negative feedback. I wonder every time I get a thump down why did I get that for? I know you're going to say that I probably give the wrong answer to some people and this and that but hey personally I would like the people that gives me thumps down to explain why I was given that score... what do you guys think?

Thanks for your Ideas.

YA! Isn't built in a way that can give feed back to others that answer. It's a shame in some ways, but I understand that such things are meant for regular forums/message-boards rather than YA!.
I understand that I can get thumbs down for any reason, but sometimes it would have been interesting to have a deeper discussion about the reasoning behind.

Something that really irks me is those who give an answer and then after they've gotten a thumbs down edits their answer to be the answer of those that has gotten the most thumbs up on the same question. I'd like to have a chance to ask why they don't have the courage to stand for what they first said. (I'd also love to see a note that their original answer has been edited. Guess I'm just to used to forums. *shakes head*)

It's human nature. Some people just don't like, or agree with the answer you have given. The thumbs down could be given by someone who has answered the same question and wants their answer to appear to be the best by downing other answers.

"I know you're going to say that I probably give the wrong answer to some people" ... not necessarily. if someone does not agree with you it doesn't mean you are wrong. people just have different views and opinions. don't let it bother you any further.

and here's a thumbs up to cheer you up! :)

There is no such thing of a "thump up" or "thump down"!

Uh... the fact that it's "thumbs up" or "thumbs down" already TELLS you why: they do or don't like it.
