In this society somebody that accepts everything they say it,s right without stop and think it (excuse my english I,m spanish).
For example, I,m not normal because I,m a woman and I play guitar in the street, and I should be thinking about find a "normal" job,a house and a man that gives me children
(Just now I,m laughing,I can,t help it...)but really,is the way lots of people think at least in Spain,I don,t know in other countries
I should be thinking too in finding the best way to get more money and buy expensive clothes (to give a good image cause if not...what will they think about me?!!)
So because at the moment I prefer to play guitar in the street and travel, instead start a slave life suffering to buy a **** flat that I will never finish paying cause the prices are that high that I will not have time, maybe the solution is to find a man and buy it with him, what means to depend of a man to buy the flat, and I have choose my independence, accepting the consecuencies (probably live under a bridge the day after tomorrow, but still is better for me that than work in the same **** place day after day and hardly have money to eat everyday cause I have to pay the **** flat I,m buying)...
Here you have the example of somebody that is not "normal" and because of that deserves the hate and despect (I think it says like that) of everybody
Apart of all that,in spanish (don,t know in english),"normal" comes from "norma" that means "rules" in english
Un saludo

There is no definite explanation for normality. It depends on the specific situation, circumstances surrounding the the action being defined, culture (culture specific), the perception of others towards what is being defined( what appears normal to you might not appear normal to me).

normal is too simple to exist.
normal is something which you can't see "as is", and therefor think it could:
1. be a combination of all things.
2. contain nothing of what you really know.
it's more likely that the 2nd possibility is closer to the truth, but then again, is there anything true about normal?
i guess not.
take, for example, an european middleaged couple:
they are normal. but you don't know them.
now take your parents/brother/sister if they are married, or, even better, yourself:
are they, or you, normal? i bet the answer is no.

In my opinion, to be normal is what is regarded as typical human behaviour, and the way in which processes involved in normal functioning work, ie: cognition, perception, memory, emotion, learning, personality, development and social relationships.

Normal isn't so much a characteristic as a lack of many characteristics.
Normal isn't grand, wonderful, exciting, unexpected, diverse, dynamic, exhilerating, or talented.
Normal is completely boring, standard, and mediocre.

There is no such thing as 'normal'. It is a subjective and opinionated word, therefore what is normal in one persons eyes would be completely abnormal in another.
