Hanukkah is a Jewish holiday also known as the Festival of Lights or Festival of Rededication. In Hebrew, the word Hanukkah is written חנכה or חנוכה. The word can be spelled several different ways in English. The most common are Chanukkah or Hanukkah, but other spellings include: Chanukah, Chanuka, Hanuka, Channukah, Hanukka and Khanike.

The same reasons christians can't respect that not everyone is christian but they say merry christmas to everyone. And the same reason whenever someone sees a child they ask them what santa is going to bring them or what they want for christmas without stopping to say "hey wait a second they may not believe in santa or christmas" I mean just because christians are the majority does not mean they can shove there religion down other peoples throat. I'm Jewish Happy Hanukkah

"Deck the halls with balls of challa," I gave that to my Orthodox Jewish friends once and they died laughing. But I'm pretty sure his dad, the rabi never saw the card, so be careful you really know who you're giving it to.
