since iv seen the world globe model iv always wondered cos some countries are like sideways and some are on the other side so are all the countries upside down n yeah i know theres no right side to earth in space ;p

Well, yes, in a way. That is, we are accustomed by culture to the northern hemisphere, as there was much more of cultural development that has been recorded by history above OR NEAR the equator. Way south was pretty barren and wild, except for near the coasts, until pretty modern times. Even now, there is much less population in the southern hemisphere. And so traditional holidays of winter, for example, are November through February. But in the southern hemisphere, that's the middle of the summer. So they do get a bit topsy-turvy Down Under, but they are very charming people for all that.
