Hi guys, i'm an italian boy and i'll stay the next 3 months in London! I'm so excited, i love UK! So... i know that cigarettes are very expensive, but there are any tricks which permits you to smoke? Low costs in some zones, roll yourself the cigarettes or anything else!! Help me! thanks

Take as many as you can from Italy...they are about £5,50 here in London!!!
I used to smoke (I gave up about 2 years ago) and I tried buying the dodgy cigarettes that some refugee was selling on the street but, even though they were really cheap, it was like smoking concrete...alternatively you can buy tobacco and roll your own...

Yeh, rolling tobbaco is cheaper and last alot longer, costs about £10 an ounce I think, not 100% sure as I dont smoke rolling tobacco, taylor made cigarettes will set you back about £5 a packet for 20. I prefer taylor mades as they dont hurt my throat as much, but the best thing to do is just have a look about, there is always one shop that will sell cheaper than somewhere else!!

You'll get a shock at the price of fags here - around £5 - £6 for 20, so about 9 euros. Most people don't bother. You won't be able to smoke in public places like you can in Italy. Start seriously cutting back now, so you can manage without when you're here.

roll up's are alot cheaper...a pack of 20 ciggies last me 1 day and cost £5 plus...i can spend the same on a pouch of tobacco and it will last me a few days...you are correct...ciggies are expensive here...and in october a law comes into affect which stops any smoking in public places...i would stick to roll ups...watch where you smoke...they will be enforcing this new law with vigour in the first few months...making examples...and have a great time whilst you are here...england is a beautiful country...try and see as much of the british isles as you can whilst you are here...scotland is well worth a look...have a wicked time...x

Give up before you get here as cost would cripple you
depending on brand, they are about £4-50 to £6-00
for a packet of 20.

Get your friends or family to send you cigarettes from Italy via the post, that is the cheapest way, or you have to stop smoking....

yes unfortuantly cigs in the uk are not the same price as in italy
expect to pay around £5 for 20 cigs... €8
rolling your own is cheaper but yes give up before you go you'll save yourself a lot of money..

roll ups , purchase the tobbaco in main land europe every 6 months and bring back here (at least half the price)
