i think i would be a little nervous but if you had something in place that could show me this was legit (IE: references, credentials, maybe others you have tutored that i could contact etc.) i might be OK with it

best of luck

Depends on the city. Smaller towns are more likely to be receptive of in-home tutoring.

You would also need to have a room set up strictly for this. I'm not going to sit on your bed with you... but you know that. You may have to offer inital meetings to allow them to scope out the place. You may even have to offer to go to thier home until you get a rep built up. Do it on the side for a little while before you leave the company so that you can build up a clientel. (Maybe you can tutor me on spelling... )

It's really going to depend on the city though...

In my country this happens all the time. Its very common offering private lessons at home. Of course we are a small country and people still trust other people. What about your country would that be acceptable? We hear so many bad things happening.

trying- what the hell does the size of a town have to do with anything? You must be a young kid. Some of the answers to this question are disturbing. Don't have children if you are too stupid or careless to keep them from potentially dangerous situations

I would not let my teenager go to your house for tutoring, regardless of your qualifications. I might let you come tutor her at her school after hours, though, or let you come to my house for it. However, I would NEVER let her go to a stranger's house for tutoring.
