Once saw a band that had a female singer who was definitely influenced by linkin park and the like.... you'd think it wouldn't work but it kinda did! Cant tell you why or how but just that she had the crowds buzzin... so yes you can have a girl sing in a rock band! (When i remember their name i will edit)

Yeah of course, in fact i think it might just sound great. You see the only thing that depends on whether it turns out bad or not is her ability to sing, if she can sing then it doesnt matter how deep her voice is, cuz it´ll sound different and good. :)

yeah !!! but if she has a deep voice, why does she need to sing with a guy aswell ?? well...i guess it depends what kind of voice the guy has.
But then again...i think it's cool when the girl has a powerful voice and she's the only singer...for example like in the band "Guano Apes".

Can she sing?? Then yes. Does she suck?? Then no. Having a deep voice means nothing in terms of your singing abillity. Just use your ears!

Its the squeeky voices taht cant.
Try doing the old 80's rock songs,,, if you listen to them you will hear how deep the female voices are.
Try listening to ''Rock Legends''
Then you will have your question answered.....The deeper the better!!!!

noooo hear to Ladyfish the lead singer does not have a deep voice-i think you would be able to desire to evaluate it intense.properly its relatively not deep...yet no thats purely a accident i think or possibly the songs which you hear to with lead singers with an more advantageous voice are merely not sturdy for rock songs......
