Please rate both verses and post which one is the better one. The basis for your decision would be most helpful.

A. BEHOLD, We have bestowed upon thee good in abundance:
hence, pray unto thy Sustainer [alone], and sacrifice [unto Him alone].
Verily, he that hates thee has indeed been cut off [from all that is good]!

B. Behold, God has granted you many things:
From now on, you should only pray and sacrifice to God alone.
God hates those who have willfully denied God.

Thank you in advance for your honest opinions

I prefer B. because it flows smoother. It is also more in tuned to the way people speak ever day. With A. some people are going to be trying to decipher the wording, they are going to be missing the meaning in the verse.

while the first one may be more "correct" the second one is much easier to read wether it is a young child or an older person.... You do not have to put as much thought into reading it to understand it than you do with the first one. You have to spend time digesting the first one line or so by line and the second one is written in "todays" laungage and so much easier to read. Its like the King James Version of the Bible Vs the New Bibles, i would read a new "modern" bible before i would try to depiict the KJV only because it is easier

Neither. You did not let us know the place you got them and you do not enable us to choose them in context. My guess is that it is not from the Bible because of the fact God enjoyed the international lots he gave his purely son to die so as that everybody who believes won't perish yet have eternal existence.

Second one is better. It uses the vernacular of today to make it more understandable and therefore more accessible to everyone.

The first one is better. The second one is trying too hard to maintain "gender-neutral" language.
