My monitor went out on me so I am trying to use the s-cable feature on my HP pavillion a 1320n pc useing windows xp with my Philips tv. But upon hooking it up the image on my tv is black and white a little out of phocus and flickers. I went into the advance settings but I had no luck with that. Does anyone have any suggestions for how I can clear this up?

I already the whole control panel thing first and it did not work.

You should be able to go the the control panel-> display-> Advanced. In this window, go to the 'displays' tab and go to the tv button. Here the options will display, you can select PAL or NTSC...I don't know which type your tv works on, but it will be either one or the other. After applying, your tv should be in color.
