Depend whose are the owner of these mango's tree. If these trees are planted at the neighbours, then it is probably belong to the town council. If it is within the vincinity of private house, then of course the house owner is also the owner of the trees. Well, for both cases, you need the approval of the owners. If it's planted at vacant land (state land), then you may pick one or two so long you don't get catch. Of cause as a law enforcement officer myself, I always closed two eyes, but technically, it's still any offence if you was catched picking mangos from state land.

Do not be mistaken, there is a tree planted all over Singapore which produces fibrous and inedible fruit. It looks like a huge round mango.
